Training Solutions 2001 is set to become the first virtual exhibition to appear for the second year running.
The show, operated by digital hall provider Expocentric, can be accessed at www.training-shows.co.uk from 30 May until 10 July.
The virtual event opens four weeks before the physical exhibition, which takes place at the NEC from 26-28 June. It will use the company's updated 1.1 software which provides feedback and further opportunities for organisers and exhibitors (Marketing Event, February).
'We see the virtual show as being extremely important, particularly in terms of pre and post-show learning. It allows visitors to plan and prepare their visit to the ground event and enables them to collect further information after the live show has closed,' Training Solutions 2001 show director Frazer Chesterman said.
Meanwhile, Expocentric is running a virtual version of the REFS Investor Show at the Business Design Centre in London. The on-line exhibition has been running from 2 February and closes on 19 March allowing visitors to retrieve product and investor information.
'Working with REFS brings a new dimension to the personal investment market, enabling them to reach out to a global audience,' said Expocentric chief executive Stephen Moore said. 'This is another sign of confidence in virtual exhibitions across a growing range of sectors.'
Other virtual shows planned for 2001 include The Windows Show 2001 and technology event Linux Expo.
