Virtex International has won three more Middle Eastern contracts
for virtual shows.
The company recently relocated to Dubai after securing a five-year deal
to virtually create all fairs organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre
(DWTC) (Marketing Event, April).
Organiser Fairs and Exhibitions has now signed a three-year deal with
Virtex to develop an interactive 3D version of the Dubai Air Show,
starting with this year's event, due to take place in November.
The company has also secured an ongoing contract with Dmg Exhibitions to
develop on-line events for a series of Asian and Middle Eastern Index
furniture, interiors and retail design shows. The virtual events will
include virtual stands and interactive products, supported by
information hotlinks deliverable in text, audio or video streaming.
Virtex has also finalised a five-year contract with Abu Dhabi outfit
General Exhibitions Company to digitise all future fairs.
"What better way to complement our contract with DWTC than to succeed in
gaining the largest trade shows within the Middle East," said Virtex
managing director Steve Martin.
