Broadband Communications Europe (BCE) 2000 and E-business 2000 are the latest shows to join forces with virtual exhibition provider Expocentric.com.
E-business 2000, which is owned by ITE Group and managed by Redman Media, focuses on e-commerce solutions and runs from 19 to 21 September at the NEC. More than 250 companies will exhibit including Psion, One2One and BT. The 3D virtual show will run from 1 September to 13 October at www.eb2k.co.uk.
'E-business is revolutionising the way we transact and Expocentric.com's digital exhibition space will be an invaluable channel for encouraging its global development,' said Expocentric.com chief executive Stephen Moore.
The www.BCE2000.com web site will let visitors browse stands, view products in 3D, talk with company representatives in real time and meet other virtual visitors between 15 September and 9 November. The physical BCE 2000 will be held at the National Hall, Olympia from 17 to 19 October. More than 100 exhibitors will be involved including Cisco Systems, Ericsson and Motorola/GI.
'Broadband is all about transforming the way we communicate and speeding up communication - exactly the same values we have at Expocentric.com,' Moore explained. 'We're excited to be launching BCE 2000 into cyberspace and look forward to enriching and extending the experience to a global audience.'
