European on-line investment firm Electronic Public Offerings and Internet TV company Kamera are to develop a virtual roadshow to give instant on-line access to investor relations information in an easily digestible format.
EPO aims to make investor research as easy as pointing and clicking a mouse, sitting back and watching a presentation from the desktop. Potential investors will get an instant company overview without having to wade through mountains of text.
The digital roadshow allows them to log on to www.epo.com and view videos of chief executives presenting company information on forthcoming investment opportunities. The straightforward video presentation format of the digital roadshow will provide investors with a vital insight into corporate culture and image.
'There is so much information produced for potential investors that it is difficult to know where to start. We hope the digital roadshow will help our customers quickly grasp the essential facts, making their work quicker, easier and therefore more profitable,' said EPO chief executive officer Ola Lauritzson.
Companies wishing to broadcast information using this solution can simply record video presentations at EPO's offices. Kamera's technology then digitises and encodes the recording, editing and indexing any extra presentation material and corporate branding, and puts this directly on to the EPO web site.
