Shah joins from Haymarket Media Group, where she was most recently employed as head of event operations.
The role saw her involved in delivering events within Event’s own live portfolio, including Event360, which returns to London on 25 May, the inaugural Creative Edge summit in Brighton, and Event Sessions.
Prior to Haymarket, Shah worked as group events project manager at Theo Paphitis Retail Group, where she worked across B2B and B2C events.
Mitchell said: "Shreena is incredibly passionate about the events industry. She loves going out there and meeting clients, but isn’t scared of the hard graft too and that is exactly what I was looking for.
"I’m really pleased that Shreena, who has a great creative flair to develop brand experiences and put on fun events, joins our Kin family."
Shah added: "It is such an exciting time to join Kin having just launched. Working as part of a smaller agency is fantastic as it allows me to focus on building powerful, lasting relationships with our clients and produce outstanding event experiences. 2016 is already looking like it’s going to be a good year."
Mitchell stood down from his role as group sales director at The Concerto Group in January. He is now managing director at street food company Kerb, as well as founder of Kin London.
