Sadler's Wells

There's still time to channel the spirit of music and cuba at Sadler's Wells theatre in Islington, with dance summer show Vamos Cuba!, running until 21 August. A range of rum-based cocktails including Mojito, Cuba Libre and Dark & Stormy, as well as some vintage rum, will be on offer as part of the show's hospitality packages. Those looking for a private or corporate event with a difference can enjoy Sadler’s Wells’ exclusive and newly renovated Pina Bausch Room for a pre-show and/or interval reception.

Model Market

With vinyl decks, a late license and ten street food micro-diners, Model Market, the latest addition to London Union's portfolio of summer venues, offers an event space showcasing music and food. The south-east London venue transforms a derelict 1950’s market into an 800-capacity event space and, while Mode Market is back for its third summer this year, it is the first time the venue is avaiable for hire as an events space. Its range of bars include the Rum Shack, Craft Can Beer Bar and a wine bar. The venue is available for hire until September and is open on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Oslo Bar

Rum-based cocktail Mai Tai is on the menu at Oslo Bar in Hackney Central, a restaurant, bar and live music venue. It has launched a new brunch, lunch and dinner menu, alongside a series of monthy events, including Hus Av Blues, which takes place every Sunday from 28 August. The live blues sessions will feature raw and authentic acoustic performers as well as Rock 'n' Roll Motown DJs. The upstairs music space backs onto a private 'Green Room' bar that can host up to 50 for private parties.

Covering 40,000sq ft, it incorporates seven railway arches and surrounding open spaces, sited between Flat Iron Square, Union Street, O’Meara St and Southwark Street, London. Establishments on offer include a restored Georgian townhouse with a cocktail bar, an exhibition space and private dining rooms, a new live music venue by Ben Lovett of Mumford & Sons and more than a dozen eateries offering a selection of food from around the globe.

Once a storage space for thousands of rum barrels, it now offers an exhibition, events and banqueting space spanning across 1,400m2, with the ground level ballroom accommodating 600 for dinner and 1,000 theatre-style framed by views of Stanley Dock.
