The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has confirmed that The British International Motor Show will stay at the NEC for 2002 and 2004.
The show was first held at the NEC in 1978. More than 700,000 visitors are expected at this year's event, which runs from 19 to 29 October.
'We are delighted that the NEC will remain the home of the British International Motor Show,' The NEC Group chief executive Barry Cleverdon said. 'Our partnership with SMMT is a key factor in its continuing success.'
