The Magic Mirror of Exploration is designed to provide consumers with the opportunity to learn about the ingredients that go into four of brand’s new fragrance blends.

Customers are invited to select from either Gingerlily, Blossoming Honeysuckle and White Tea, Orange & Bergamot or Mesmerising Oudh Accord & Gold, which are inspired by the destinations of Tahiti, Sichuan, Seville and Assam respectively.

Shoppers will then come into contact with animated illustrations and sound effects that reflect the location of their chosen scent, as they take in their own reflection.

A camera will capture an image of each participant, who will receive a souvenir photo to be shared on social media.

The Magic Mirror of Exploration landed in Glasgow on Tuesday (15 December) where it will remain for a total of three weeks. The mirror will then embark on a UK tour, visting a total of 18 Molton Brown stores throughout 2016.

Leone Ashby, associate director UK & Ireland at Molton Brown Marketing said: "The Magic Mirror of Exploration is an opportunity to enrich our customers’ in-store experience by giving them a genuinely remarkable way to explore our products.

"We have a compelling story to tell and The Magic Mirror of Exploration has successfully woven this into a genuinely evocative experience that has our customers literally stepping into our world of discovery."

Five Molton Brown branded taxis are currently servicing Londoners, however unlike the traditional taxi, these 'Christmas carriages' are scented to highlight the brand's festive collection
