The first, over a period of three weeks, centred around Jaguar UK's new XJ Diesel and X-Type 2.2 models; the other, Currys "White Show Live", a roadshow that travelled to Glasgow, Bradford, Cheltenham Racecourse and Sandown Park.
The Jaguar event took place at the end of June and was attended by around 700 delegates from 110 Jaguar UK dealerships who wanted to learn about Jaguar's new diesel and aluminium technologies. The chosen venue was Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, a vehicle-testing facility in Leicestershire, which MMM transformed into a blacked-out room with a set that featured a 12ft-wide video screen.
Jaguar UK network training and development manager Peter Leake said: "The set was superb, the organisation of the event was exemplary and MMM's team was second to none."
The Currys "White Show Live" roadshow took place at the beginning of July. The series of one-day events consisted of training for more than 900 staff on in-store brands such as Dyson, Bosch and Electrolux.
Agency Blakes Exhibitions constructed shell scheme exhibition areas that featured seminar rooms and The Hub - a relaxation area where delegates could network between seminars.
Dixons Stores Group marketing manager Amanda Cottrell said: "The White Show Live enabled Currys to communicate key business priorities to those on the sales floor. We are reviewing how we can incorporate the format into our ongoing product training programme."
