The Mizuno Performance Centre will feature state-of-the-art activity zones for guests that will be based around sprinting, football and handball to test speed, agility, accuracy and power, with prizes for the highest scores.

The experience will also provide visitors with the opportunity to take advantage of free biomechanical running analysis and try out a variety of Mizuno sports products.

Akito Mizuno, president of Mizuno, said: "In an exciting summer for sport we are delighted to be opening the Mizuno Performance Centre at Centre Point. We believe the iconic status of the building is a perfect reflection of the Mizuno brand. Our customers have a wonderful opportunity to try out the latest products, interact with our sports stars and explore more about our Japanese heritage in what will be a truly exciting day out for all the family."

As well as top athletes the venue will also showcase Mizuno’s limited edition Seiei Collection of footwear. Seiei (pronounced 'say ay') is Japanese for the word 'elite' and this new range will be worn by Mizuno’s top sporting athletes this summer.

It will also have bespoke sporting artwork by renowned Japanese brushstroke artist Hidekichi Shigemoto.

For the opportunity to visit the Mizuno Performance Centre guests need to pre-register with the pop-up experience.
