MES lands big entertainment deal for Games

Mice Entertainment Services (MES) has won a £200,000 contract to provide corporate entertainment at the Sponsors’ Village and Club Sport at this year’s Commonwealth Games.

Mice Entertainment Services (MES) has won a £200,000 contract to provide corporate entertainment at the Sponsors’ Village and Club Sport at this year’s Commonwealth Games. The firm was appointed by Sodexho Prestige, which is handling the hospitality catering for the venue. About 20,000 guests will be entertained from 25 July to 4 August by musicians, stilt-walkers, clowns, jugglers and fire-eaters. The aim is to create a carnival atmosphere in the village. MES chief executive Michael Gelardi said: “I am delighted that this prestigious contract is the first major deal to be signed by us as part of the Mice Group.”
