MARKETING EVENT AWARDS: A night to remember - The industry was out in force for the biggest night of the year - the Marketing Event Awards 2000. Here's who won

Designed to celebrate the very best in the live events and exhibitions industry, the Marketing Event Awards 2000 were held at the the London Hilton, Park Lane on Friday 22 September. A record number of entries meant competition was tougher than ever but a couple of companies managed to stamp their supremacy on the proceedings. Penton Business Media scooped two gold awards for Internet World 2000, and Photobition Event Solutions won two golds, including our grand prix, for its little pounds 13,500 stand for the Institute of Electronic Engineers.
