The reality television star is portrayed in her selfie pose, with an extended arm and mobile phone in hand.
The mobile phone is designed to take real-life images, enabling fans to capture a real-life selfie of themselves alongside Kardashian.
The figure is complete with a changing backdrop which sees fans snap a photo of themselves with the TV personality in front of the Eiffel Tower through to the local caravan park.
Kardashian wears what she recently declared on Instagram to be one of her favourite dresses ever – an embellished Balmain Paris minidress designed by Olivier Rousteing.
The fashion house has recreated the white and pale blue dress bead-by-bead for the occasion, which is inspired by the Fabergé egg Richard Burton bought for Elizabeth Taylor.
Kardashian’s figure will wear the outfit throughout July, and she will change into another by August. She is soon to be joined by a wax figure of husband, rapper Kanye West.
The Kim Kardashian figure took four months and £150,000 to complete.
Nicole Fenner, PR manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: "When we were thinking about how we should portray Kim here at Madame Tussauds London, it quickly became obvious it had to be taking a selfie. But we wanted to make it really special and create a set where guests can take a picture that will look as if they have just bumped into Kim in any number of locations.
"We are also paying a bit of a tribute to Kim’s own ‘three image rule’, which dictates you should never take more than three images in the same location. A constantly changing backdrop ensures guests don’t fall foul of that rule with hundreds of different selfie scenes to give people lots of picture perfect experiences."
