The event, taking place at Spencer House in London on 29 September, aims to celebrate the charity's flagship fundraiser, the World's Biggest Coffee Morning, which this year is taking place on 30 September. Guests will enjoy an evening of cocktails, wine and canapés, with experiences and entertainment curated by designer, cook, author and retailer, Sophie Conran.
The evening, aimed at fundraising for people affected by cancer, will include an exclusive barista-style coffee tasting from De'Longhi, cocktails from Corbin & King’s iconic Bar Américain, performances from the legendary DJ Jeremy Healy and rising star Dan Olsen, and experiences from the likes of Wild at Heart, Rococo Chocolates and Peggy Porschen Cupcakes.
Last week, the charity unveiled a giant biscuit installation featuring British skyline landmarks, made out of 25,000 biscuits. Macmillan has previously partnered with De'Longhi on other events, including Shared, an art exhibition hosted last year, featuring art that was broken down into components.
