Guildhall Great Hall in London was the setting for the global
launch of the Harry Potter trading card game last month.
US manufacturer and publisher Wizards of the Coast chose the venue
because of its similarities with Hogwarts' Great Hall - Harry Potter's
school dining room in the books. The environment was designed to
resemble Harry's school and four banquet tables had school prefects on
hand to explain how to play the game. More than 600 people attended the
launch including 300 children dressed as Harry Potter characters.
"The venue worked really hard to ensure it was a huge success," Harry
Potter trading card game spokeswoman Sara Weatherhead said.
