The new venue will host the 30th edition of London Fashion Weekend on 24-27 September. It takes on the biannual consumer event, which was previously headline sponsored by Vodafone, from Somerset House.
The four-day experience will be sponsored by the likes of Canon, Maybelline and London Fashion Week’s new headline sponsor, Sunglass Hut. The BFC will host a number of designer and high-street brands at catwalk shows, talks, pop-ups and shopping events.
The BFC announced in April that its 62nd London Fashion Week would also move from Somerset House, to Brewer Street Car Park in Soho.
Caroline Rush, chief executive of the BFC, said: "This summer we want to drive support for a city-wide celebration of our fantastic British fashion industry. In September, London’s creativity will be on the catwalk.
"From shows at London Fashion Week in Soho to shows at London Fashion Weekend in Chelsea, we are spreading our footprint across the city."
