The Coca-Cola London Eye has teamed up with Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the West End to deliver an interactive experience aboard its capsules this Easter.

The View of Pure Imagination event will feature story-telling actors and Easter-themed craft workshops, as well as chocolate treats for attendees, meanwhile The London Eye is set to emit a purple colour for the occasion.

The area around the structure will be transformed to mirror Willy Wonka’s gold and purple universe, complete with lollipop trees and other confectionary.

The experience will kick off on Good Friday (25 March) and run through until 9 April. Half-an-hour slots will commence from 12-5pm each day.

The London landmark is also hosting a chocolate tasting experience for adults with Hotel Chocolat over the Easter weekend (25-28 March), where ticketholders will be treated to a one-hour chocolate and truffle tasting session with a brand ambassador.

Sunny Jouhal, general manager at the Coca-Cola London Eye said: "We are very excited to be partnering with Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for Easter – we’ll be bringing the magic of the stage production to our guests as they soar 135 metres above London – what’s not to love?"

Last year saw the Coca-Cola London Eye host a champagne experience with Santander, as well as light up for events such as the General Election with Facebook and the Rugby World Cup.
