London debut for ethnic fair

The Ethnic Furniture, Fabrics and Decorative Arts (EFFDA)

exhibition will make its debut at Wembley Conference and Exhibition

Centre from 6-8 May 2001.

'Wembley is the ideal venue for the EFFDA,' said show organiser Stephen

Powell. 'It was chosen to be the best possible showcase for overseas

manufacturers, designers, craftspeople, and for European importers.'

The show has already attracted 150 exhibitors. About 3,000 visitors are

expected to attend.

The London launch of EFFDA 2001 attracted an audience of trade

representatives from more than 35 countries. Powell added: 'All evidence

suggests that the market for ethnic products in the UK is set to grow at

a rapid pace.'
