Laurent-Perrier is bringing its Gourmet Odyssey food tours back to the capital as part of this year's London Restaurant Festival (1-31 October).

The concept, which was first unveiled at the London Restaurant Festival in 2014, will this year see Laurent-Perrier host three food and wine pairing tours, which will each cover the capital’s north, east and west districts.

The tours will begin with an aperitif of Laurent-Perrier Brut, at which point guests will hop on a branded bus and travel to their first venue for an entrée. They will visit a separate restaurant for their main meal, and another for dessert.

Each dish will be paired with a Laurent-Perrier champagne, such as the Brut and Ultra Brut varieties through to the brand's Cuvée Rosé and Vintage 2006 offerings.

The Discover North tour, which is set to take place on 10 October, will see diners visit The Great Northern Hotel for an aperitif, after which they will sample Italian fare at Trullo, modern British food at the Grade-II listed Quality Chop House, and sustainable dishes at Grain Store.

On 17 October Laurent-Perrier will deliver its Discover East tour, which will kick off at the Ace Hotel. Appetisers, mains and desserts will be served at Bistrotheque, Paradise Garage and Blixen respectively.

Designed to celebrate elegant dining experiences, Discover West will take place on 24 October. The Connaught will host Laurent-Perrier’s champagne reception – the first stop of the day - and during the tour guests will sample French cuisine at The Berkeley, Indian fare at Trishna and dessert by chef Theo Randall at the InterContinental.

Laurent-Perrier activated at Jamie Oliver's Big Feastival event last month, and the champagne house created a 1920s-themed venue for attendees at Wilderness Festival in July.
