Where is it? Right in the middle of the West End, at the top of Regent Street on Portland Place.

What is it? The flagship property of Langham Hotels International. When it was opened by the Prince of Wales (later, King Edward VII) in 1865, The Langham was one of the largest public buildings in London and was the first to have hydraulic lifts.
What's it got? The hotel is currently undergoing an £80m refurbishment project, due to be completed in March. The new Langham will include14 newly decorated function rooms, including the historic Grand Ballroom, which has been lovingly restored and will hold up to 375 guests, and the sizeable Portland Foyer that will hold up to 200 guests for a reception.
