Ketel One Vodka and Bulleit Bourbon have partnered with Jason Atherton’s City Social to create a series of cocktails that aim to turn traditional gender perceptions on their head, such as the vodka-based Billy Big Coconuts cocktail and fruity Freedom of Peach concoction.
The Grade I-listed One Mayfair will host a total of 20 pop-up bars across four floors, with other brand and venue partnerships to include Patrón Silver and OXO Tower, Campari and The Alchemist, Johnnie Walker Gold Label and Coq D’Argent, and Plymouth Gin and Powder Keg Diplomacy.
The event will also feature international bars for the first time. Paris’ Little Red Door is working with French bitters brand Suze for its pop-up, meanwhile Door 74 in Amsterdam has joined forces with bourbon brand Woodford Reserve.
Ticketholders can also expect a roof top whisky snug, tasting tables and food offerings.
Following the London installment Cocktails in the City is set to visit Leeds on 7-8 April, Manchester from 19-20 May and Edinburgh on 27-28 October. The event will also return to the capital from 29-31 July.
