Just Communicate is part of The Creative Engagement Group, an alliance formed earlier this year between the comms agency, WRG and film and digital agency The Moment. The alliance aims to engage audiences through live experiences, communications and immersive content. Tingey will report to Just Communicate founder Steve Twigg.
Tingey was previously director of exhibitions and digital media at agency Parexel Medical Communications, and has spent the last 20 years consulting for experiential agencies, primarily within the healthcare industry.
Tingey said: "I’m looking forward to being challenged and the opportunity to explore a new and exciting evolution of our service offering to clients. During my time at Parexel Medical Communications I was instrumental in building the exhibitions service offering, working with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. I have joined the company at an exciting time with the launch of The Creative Engagement Group alliance."
Russ Lidstone, CEO of The Creative Engagement Group added: "Mike brings a wealth of expertise and experience working within the healthcare space and will be instrumental in growing our remit with clients and driving new business for the group. Mike has a great track record of winning pitches and will work to develop mutually beneficial business relationships with clients based on trust, continued creativity and a commitment to delivering excellence."
Earlier this month, agency Sense announced the appointment of Sally McLaren to board director. Also in December, Initials hired Paul Gygi to the role of creative director.
