Jalapeno London closes

Former Science Museum caterer Jalapeno London has ceased trading, citing economic instability and a lack of clients able to pay fees.

Jalapeno, run by Charles Howard, had been operational for ten years, but finally closed its doors in late December.

"Sadly... with the increase of clients and companies who are unable to pay for services already provided by Jalapeno London, combined with the economic climate, event cancellations and the general downturn in the economy particularly in our own market sector... we have taken the reluctant decision to close the business with immediate effect," said Howard in a statement.

Jalapeno is not the only firm to feel the heat this year - Fifteen Events and Fisher Productions have also suffered during the conomic downturn which has seen event budgets slip by 30%.
