Scheduled to take place at Noble’s Park on 6 July, festival organisers Rockingmann Festivals Limited, announced yesterday (24 June) that the event was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Among some of the names in the festival line up were Paloma Faith and Loveable Rogues.

In a statement a festival spokesman said: "The risk in pursuing the event would put businesses on and off the Island in jeopardy.

"A great festival was planned for the Isle of Man with global artists, international and local media partners and world reaching sponsors. Sadly, this cannot now be realised."

Refunds for tickets, which cost between £55 and £150, are being directed through the agents from where tickets were bought.
