ISES unveils details of Accelerate 2016 conference

ISES' Accelerate conference will span three days and multiple London-based venues in 2016, as well as include the inaugural Creative Disruptors Awards.

The event will kick off on 12 May with an opening party and awards night at Ministry of Sound, followed by a conference at Emirates Stadium on 13 May, which will be opened by Joe Goldblatt, professor at Queen Margaret University and founding president of ISES. 

Many familiar faces from the 2015 event are set to return, including ISES UK President Kevin Jackson, Strong & Co's Deborah Armstrong and Sanj Surati, experiential producer at Holition, who will discuss technological disruption in the event space.

Others on the line-up include Nicole Yershon, director of digital innovation at Ogilvy and Mather, who will address the live and digital marketing, meanwhile Julius Solaris, editor of the Event Manager Blog will run his ‘Ask Julius’ session on event technology.

Ticketholders will take a venue tour of some of central London’s most iconic venues on 14 May. 

This year's theme is 'disruption fuels creativity', highlighting the forces disrupting the events industry at all levels.

James Morgan, chair of ISES EMEA said: "After last year’s success with attendees joining us from as far away as the Balkans, India, Nigeria, Turkey and the UAE and USA, we have attracted some great speakers and content that is going to deliver a ground-breaking conference experience."

Last year's conference featured the likes of Michelle Bryan-Low, head of large consumer marketing at Google and model turned entrepreneur Caprice Bourret

ISES is set to host its first global summit at IMEX in Scotland next month
