Kort will report in to Muriel Holdsworth, the agency’s managing director, EMEA, and work out of Invnt's London based office.
There are plans to expand into the Middle East and South America, and the agency is said to be working on global campaigns for brands such as Nissan.
Scott Cullather, global managing partner at Invnt said: "Michael has been an invaluable member of Invnt’s New York operation, and we are proud to acknowledge his contributions to our company with this move.
"We are initiating a multi-platform approach, collaborating with like-minded organisations that specialise in different areas and expanding our core services, including live, digital and traditional media, brand environments and a wide range of creative services."
Holdsworth added: "Michael will significantly contribute to EMEA’s overall growth strategy, particularly because of his deep experience in the automotive industry. He will bolster an already successful team that in 2015 delivered great campaigns in the region for Nissan, Juniper Networks and PepsiCo, to name a few. We already foresee exciting opportunities for inVNT in 2016."
Invnt also recently appointed a managing director, global partnerships to work with the agency's global clients.
