Haymarket Marketing Publications has launched a research study to determine the proportion of client marketing budgets allocated to different types of events and the return on investment. The research conducted by Vivid Interface on behalf of the International Special Events Society will evaluate the worth of creative events, exhibitions, conferences and product launches. Almost 40,000 readers of Event, RSVP and Conference & Incentive Travel have been asked to answer questions online. Visitors to this month’s RSVP exhibition at Olympia will also be encouraged to visit the survey at www.eventmagazine.co.uk/research. The editor of Event and RSVP magazines, Mike Fletcher, said: “Nobody has attempted to place a value on the size of the creative events market until now.”
