Event and communications agency PGI has launched a Greek arm. PGI
Hellas was officially opened last month but it has already worked on
events in the region.
The arm merges PGI Europe and Greek event management company SG
The group has worked on exhibitions in the region including the
Infralympics Athens 2000, which took place last November and focused on
preparations for the Olympics in 2004.
'We believe south-east Europe will take time to mature,' said PGI Europe
senior vice-president Kathy Papadimitriou. 'Once it does then we see
Athens emerging as market leader because of its stability.'
The US group, which has offices in London, will launch its Stuttgart
offices in the summer and hopes for further developments in Brussels and
