INTERNATIONAL NEWS: Marketing plan for Singapore

Singapore's exhibition, meetings and convention industry have

joined forces on a marketing campaign to boost awareness of the

country's facilities.



The Singapore Intelligence Centre (SIC) comprises ten local partners

including the Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore International

Convention and Exhibition Centre (SICEC). The three-year campaign will

cost about dollars 1m (pounds 690,000) per year.



The SIC aims to get more events at the SICEC. It also hopes to create

business spin-offs for hotels.
