Global live events management company Capital Events launches in
the UK this month. It will be headed by former Caribiner Europe managing
director Mark Wallace.
The French-founded company has offices across Europe and in New York and
Los Angeles. Clients include Renault, Microsoft and the Foreign
"We felt the company needed to have a presence in the UK," said
"The market is slack at the moment but we felt that if we didn't move
into the UK now then we would lose out."
The new offices will be in Chiswick, west London. In two year's time the
company plans to have its head office in the UK.
"Most of our clients are blue-chip companies and most of their head
offices are in the UK," Wallace said.
Capital Events, which has an annual turnover of about £85m, is
looking to expand its presence in the US and branch out in Russia, Hong
Kong and Singapore.
"Capital Events is a very entrepreneurial company," added Wallace. "The
UK market is a very important one as it has a high number of clients who
are heavily reliant on live events."
