Douglass, CEO at Innovision, and Miller, director of business development for George P Johnson, have first hand experience of activating brands' sponsorship of major sporting events using event marketing strategies.
This year, Innovision is working on Lloyds TSB's event marketing strategy for the 2012 Games, while George P Johnson is activating Cisco's sponsorship of the Games.
The pair will be revealing what works; what doesn't; how to achieve the best results and how to measure them; what type of tactics each agency employs; and how crucial event marketing is to brands' sponsorship of major sporting events.
The session will be part of The Guide Live's educational seminars that will be taking part at Etc Veues St Paul's on Friday 20 April.
There will also be a keynote talk from Mark Evers, director of games transport for TFL, who will reveal what roads to avoid and at what times during the Olympics, which is crucial to anyone putting on an event in the capital during the Games.
These sessions are free for any in-house brand event professional and for those people responsible for creating events on behalf of event agencies.
