A former casino, Purple Door is owned by The Crown Estate, which owns 50% of property in the St James’s area.
It occupies the 279sqm basement space at 196 Piccadilly.
The venue, which has capacity for 500 standing and 200 seated, is the tenth to be added to the Industri porfolio that includes the Boiler House in Battersea Power Station.
Tarek Gjonnes, managing director for Industri Management, said: "We feel this venue complements our growing portfolio of buildings as it’s based in a prime and sought after location.
"I feel confident that our clients will enjoy this unusual space, a blank canvas with endless possibilities."
