Imagination wins Ford task

Imagination has won the global exhibition design contract for Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover.

Imagination has won the global exhibition design contract for Aston Martin, Jaguar and Land Rover. Ford Motor Company handed the agency the multimillion pound contract after an extended pitch. The work will include 25 motor shows a year, starting with the Frankfurt Autoshow in September. Imagination has worked with each brand separately and was behind Jaguar’s exhibition presence in North America. Jaguar’s new stands will develop the wood and aluminium wave design, premiered at the Detroit Autoshow in January. Land Rover has briefed Imagination to focus on bringing the brand’s adventurous spirit to life. Aston Martin will continue with a luxury design theme with stone walls and flooring. Imagination design director Douglas Broadley described the win as “a great demonstration of our understanding of these brands and where they are going. We are very excited about consolidating our relationship with these companies.” Jaguar and Land Rover global exhibition and customer events manager Amanda Chick said: “Imagination’s creative work demonstrated a thorough understanding of these very diverse brands.” Aston Martin and Land Rover are due to launch models next year.
