More than 30 event managers from across the UK will descend on ID’s head office to attend the training academy, which will focus on enhancing attendees’ knowledge and management skills across live experiential campaigns.
It will look at the key elements that help to bring experiential campaigns to life, including staff management and motivation, client liaison skills and account management processes, as well as campaign logistics and health and safety.
All participants will be required to complete a written and practical assignment upon completion of the academy session, which will help the agency to determine its core team of event managers for 2015-16.
The Event Manager Training Academy forms part of ID’s broader portfolio of training initiatives, which are made available to the agency's database of over 5,000 event managers, brand ambassadors and product demonstrators.
There are also plans to expand the academy, rolling it out across the UK throughout the remainder of the year.
Gemma Murton, head of talent for ID Staffing, said: "Our staff are the most important part of our campaigns, therefore the Event Manager Academy is the perfect opportunity for us to share our knowledge and nurture their talent.
"It’s vital that we have a strong team of event managers out in the field, as we see them as an extension of our head office team – ensuring that all of our campaigns are extremely successful."
