Pearce brings 20 years’ experience working at the highest level both in-agency and in-house with leading brands and influencers, including the likes of Adidas, Coca-Cola and the England football team. Pearce will work across a number of clients including Barclays, providing guidance for the bank’s sponsorship of upcoming sporting events including the new Premier League season, as well as FIFA, EE and new HSE Cake client the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Most recently communications manager at 10Ten Talent, Pearce's experience includes three years as Adidas global PR Manager, where she worked on the London 2012 Olympics and the launch of Team GB, and a combined 10 years on Hill & Knowlton and M&C Saatchi’s sports teams. During a two-year stint in Australia, Pearce also held the head of consumer PR role at Vodafone.

Adrian Pettett, CEO of HSE Cake, said: "Sarah brings a wealth of experience across HSE Cake’s entertainment heartland and the sports offering we have strengthened since our merger last year. We are delighted to have someone of Sarah's experience and calibre on the team, as we continue to build a best in class client offering around sports and entertainment – which is best reflected in our work in football, particularly with Barclays, Carling, Emirates, FIFA and Coca Cola.

Pearce added: "I’ve known about Havas Sports & Entertainment and Cake individually for a long time as agencies that create incredible consumer PR and sponsorship campaigns, and since they’ve merged I’ve kept a close eye on them. They’re absolutely flying at the moment, working with some of the world’s biggest sports brands, and I’m excited to bring my experience to the table, to deliver exceptional work for our clients and continue to grow the business."

The agency worked together with Weetabix on an activation at this year's V Festival, which took place at the weekend (20-21 August) at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.
