HP:ICM won two golds, two silvers and a bronze ITMA Award at the ITMA National Awards at Grosvenor House, London last month.
A SmithKline Beecham project for the UK sales launch of diabetes treatment Avandia won gold for best pharmaceutical event. And a General Motors project for the pan-European launch of the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa and VX220 won gold for best overseas event, plus two silvers and a bronze in other categories.
The event involved 12,000 delegates from more than 35 countries attending a three-day event in Cannes, France (Marketing Event, October).
HP:ICM chairman and creative director Nigel Lloyd-Jones said: 'We are particularly proud of these awards because it demonstrates the total commitment we have to delivering quality, creative work for all our clients.'
HP:ICM managing director Julian Pullen said: 'One of the difficult things in our business is that there is little public airing of what we do. We use the awards as a way of declaring a benchmark. Awards judge on effectiveness and they are a very good way of evaluating what we do.'
