The events, which kicked off last week, are running at stores across the UK until 23 September, including stores in London, Manchester, Sutton Coldfield, Maidstone, Exeter and Cheltenham. The event offers visitors the chance to discover this season’s key beauty trends, with selected stores offering advice and workshops from beauty experts.
Activity in stores will include beauty workshops, advice from make-up artists, refreshments and a goody bag, with other features planned depening on the store. The Manchester event for example, taking place at House of Fraser Manchester on 18 September, will feature bespoke cocktails and canapés from The Alchemist, sugary treats from The Sweet Shop and live music.
Ruth Newman, director of beauty at House of Fraser, said: "For autumn/winter 2014, our beauty team has selected an incredible range of covetable products for Beauty Confidential. From game-changing new launches, to classic cult favourites, it’s the perfect opportunity to update your make-up and skincare regimes.
"As well as picking out this season’s top buys for eyes, lips and nails, we’re focusing on key trends in contouring and achieving flawless skin, and introducing customers to our ultimate ‘Hall of Fame’ products."
Beauty Confidential is held twice a year, with this year's previous events running in April.
