The permanent exhibition, which will be on display at Astley Hall in Chorley from 15 June, will use the latest technology to illustrate what life was like for the Chorley Pals, who were on the front line of battle.
Visitors will be able to use touch-screen technology to go on a journey through history, discovering the stories of the war heroes, as well as exploring a detailed recreation of what life was like in the trenches through realistic sets.
Eddie Blake from Heckford Exhibitions, said: "Developing the interactive attraction for Chorley Remembers has been one of the most challenging projects we have worked on but the end result will look amazing.
"In order to tell the story of the Chorley Pals we have used the latest technology so that future generations can understand what they went through during the war. We have utilised all of our skills here at Heckford Exhibitions to make sure that visitors to the exhibition will enjoy a realistic, interactive experience which is both engaging and informative."
