Haymarket in talks with IPC over licensing

IPC Media is in talks with Haymarket Exhibitions over the possibility of licensing its brands to the organiser for future events.

IPC is also continuing talks with Clarion Events about further event collaborations following its decision to join forces to launch The Baby Show, in association with its Practical Parenting magazine (Event, March).

IPC Media group strategy director Julian Drinkall said: "The areas we are keen to look at are marine, motors, cycling, and women's life-style. We are looking across the entire IPC portfolio, but some areas are very competitive."

The publisher is also looking at getting key advertisers to sponsor customised events, such as the Woman & Evans Feel Good Roadshow, which was organised last year by the now defunct events arm IPC Live!
