Haygarth takes Nokia phones to consumers

Nokia has commissioned marketing communications group Haygarth to devise an experiential campaign to launch its Fashion Collection mobile phones.

This marks Nokia's first foray into theatrical marketing and supports the mobile phone company's press, cinema and TV campaign.

The campaign, which is being delivered by Comment UK, will run in eight UK cities. It uses characters from the adverts to present the handsets to consumers in trendy bars, hotels, and restaurants, as well as commuter hotspots and upmarket department stores.

Nokia senior marketing manager Jason Paris said: "We ran an initial test and the reactions from the public were incredible."
