Global Event TV: Tidal kidnaps Rihanna fans for music video premiere

Music streaming site Tidal hosted a secret event for the launch of Rihanna's new single, Bitch Better Have My Money (BBHMM), in Los Angeles on 1 July.

Consenting users of Tidal were sent an elusive email to meet on a street in the Californian city. They were boarded onto private buses, blindfolded and driven to an unknown destination, which transpired to be the Bob Baker Marionette Theater [sic].

Here, the audience were treated to a performance from jugglers and puppeteers and an exclusive screening of BBHMM as cash fell from the ceiling.

Rihanna herself then made an appearance on stage and gave details about the filming of the video. She later mingled with the crowd and signed autographs.

The abduction-style event was devised to represent the storyline of the risqué short, which depicts Rihanna kidnapping Eric Roberts' wife.
