Devised by London-based digital creative studio Holition, the app allows consumers to virtually try on the brand’s 200-plus nail colours by simply hovering their smartphone over their hand.
It utilises real-time light reflection to deliver realistic visualisations of people’s nails, and it analyses skin tone to offer individually tailored nail colour suggestions.
Customers were invited to test out the app at the store, and those who posted their nail colour suggestion on Twitter or Facebook received a free sample of nail polish via a special instore vending machine.
Manicurists were also on hand throughout the final day to offer free manicures.
