The Adidas 'Republic of Sports', part of a wider Adidas fitness campaign, opened at Shanghai Century Park in China last week (26 July). An indoor venue is showcasing four of the sports brands' core categories of football, basketball, training and running.
The activation, devised by Auditoire and TBWA\Shanghai, also features a number of booths highlighting Adidas' high-tech products, including a 'Boost Run Lab' giving visitors an insight into the development and application of Adidas' Boost technology in footwear.
The facility includes 4,500 square meters of private courts, interactive spaces, games and exhibitions, encouraging attendees to participate in all kinds of matches and competitions while experiencing the brand as well as its products.
The Republic of Sports activation will run until 22 August.
In the UK, Adidas hosted a series of fitness events within an X-shaped pop-up space known as The X at London's Victoria Park in February.
