The two-floored venue will sit on top of the Stratford shopping centre. It will be open for five months from April and is expected to greet more than 11,000 guests.
Agency George P Johnson will work with Cisco to manage the technology-heavy venue which will showcase Cisco’s brand values and explore the future of business.
The ground floor will house an interactive walkthrough experience using multimedia to present how innovative organisations use networking technology, as well as future opportunities. A ‘This is London’ section of the walkthrough will guide visitors through a virtual tour of how technology has evolved in the capital. A large networking lounge will sit on the top floor offering views over the Olympic Stadium.
Phil Smith, chief executive of Cisco UK and Ireland said the space would "perfectly demonstrate" Cisco’s brand identity. "The focus of Cisco House is not on what Cisco makes, but what we make possible," he said. "From design through to build and finish, everyone involved in the project has worked tirelessly to construct something that embodies Cisco’s vision for innovation and we are excited to share the results."
The news comes after caterer Absolute Taste was appointed to provide hospitality to Westfield Stratford City during the Games.
