Caterer Cooks and Partners provided the food and drink with summer breeze cocktails, prosecco and sauvignon blanc for drinks, and generous canapés including potato cake with sweet rosemary cured lamb, filo tartlet with Norfolk asparagus and quails egg, and mini English fish pie.
Guests could view different rooms at the venue and enjoyed entertainment from jazz band Swing Beat.
The Geological Society is based in Burlington House in Piccadilly and features a range of spaces such as the Lower Library, that can host 172 for a drinks reception, and Council Room that can cater for 30 seated.
Other suppliers on the night included Mary Jane Vaughan for the flowers and Effect Event for lighting.
