G-Shock to target skating fans with experiential tour

Watch brand Casio G-Shock will be touring local skate parks across the UK this summer in a branded bus.

The G-Shock Tour will begin in Glasgow on 25 July. Devised in collaboration with events group Vision Nine, the event will be open to all ages and feature talent from the worlds of BMX and skateboarding.

Street artists will go head-to-head in live battles, while local artists will provide the musical entertainment. In every city, the on-stage performers will encourage the crowd to become part of the experience through showcasing their own skills in art, skating or vocal wizardry.

Exclusive competitions with be held at each location, while those who cannot make the five-stop tour can engage with the campaign on Instagram, Twitter and the G-Shock website.

Further details of each city’s experience are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. The tour will come to an end in London, although the date and venue for this final stop have not been confirmed.

  • Manchester, Projekts, on 1 August
  • Birmingham, Creation, on 8 August
  • Bristol, Motion, on 15 August
