Fresh venues bolster Christmas packages

This year's Christmas event packages will see a wealth of agencies use a number of new venues with themes ranging from world music to 1920s art deco.

In the past month a flurry of festive party packages have been launched across London as agencies battle it out for early client bookings.

The Ultimate Experience has launched its largest-ever collection of venues to accommodate Christmas parties for between 80 and 700 guests. The agency recently won a contract to use the third floor of the Trocadero for its World Beat package, available between 28 November and 23 December. The world music celebration will cater for a three-course dinner of up to 700 guests or a buffet for 3,500.

The Ultimate Experience is also offering a Hollywood experience at Porchester Hall, a tropical theme at the Nash Conservatory in Kew, a temporary structure at the Royal Hospital Gardens in Chelsea and a Monte Carlo themed package at Painshill Park in Cobham, Surrey.

Agency Launch Pad Events has snapped up the recently refurbished Shoreditch Town Hall in east London as one of its two main Christmas offerings.

From 7-23 December, the council chamber will act as a reception area and guests will be able to dine and dance in the Assembly Hall.

Launch Pad is also returning to the Fashion and Textile Museum for a second year and will host Riviera Chic parties from 1-23 December, which will feature powder-puff make-up girls and period style dressing up boxes from the 1920s, 30s and 40s.

Evolve Events is transforming Kent House in Knightsbridge into a 1920s Art Deco townhouse for events of up to 300 guests. Mask will stage parties at venues including the Atlantis Gallery, Royal Courts of Justice and Vinopolis.
