Anthony Floreano, managing director for Freeman in EMEA, said: "It’s incredible to see how far the Freeman team in EMEA has come as an organisation. Over the last three years we’ve moved into brand new offices and built a state-of-the-art production facility, maintained strong relationships with existing clients and established new ones and introduced a range of technologies designed to enhance the event experience for our clients and attendees."
Freeman also announced that Albert Chew, based in the US and currently president of expositions, is taking on the added role of chief operating officer for the company, and will focus on leading the integration of Freeman-branded operations to present a unified approach to Freeman clients. Ken Sanders, president of Freeman's audio-visual business and also in the US, is to lead merger and acquisition initiatives across all Freeman and the company’s Encore business.
Freeman's brand experience agency, FreemanXP, made several new hires this year; last month it recruited Celine Jean as account director for the EMEA region.
As part of the contract extension with Reed Exhibitions for ILTM (International Luxury Travel Markets), Freeman will serve as the official event contractor for Reed, providing core services including shell scheme, carpet and electrics.
Emma Rawle, operations manager at Reed Exhibitions, said: "Reed Exhibitions is very pleased to have selected Freeman as both official contractor and joint official graphic supplier of ILTM in 2016 and 2017, with a review to continue the partnership into 2018."
