The companies, who recently announced the addition of three themed areas to the event, are giving schools within the City the opportunity to watch two productions from the Greenwich Theatre in the Barclaycard Unwind Theatre in the Piazza.

The Golden Cowpat, a Tucked In production, is an interactive fairytale for children aged three-years-old or above, combining storytelling, puppetry and original music.

Superhero Snail Boy, produced by Vertical Line Theatre, is a new play for those aged eight-years-old or older from up and coming writer Elizabeth Muncey.

In addition, the ten-day event will host a variety of activities aimed at children of all ages. These include performances from JLS and The Saturdays, as well as the Gruffalo, Horrible Histories and Brainiac – all of which will form part of A Day At The Park.

There will also be a special outdoor cinema season, a sporting programme, cookery, arts and crafts.
