Victory Services Club
Private military members' club Victory Services Club is located in central London near Marble Arch and was established in 1907. It has seven event rooms with a capacity of 10-300 individuals, suited to hosting conferences, meetings, exhibitions, receptions and award ceremonies. The El Alamein and Trafalgar Suite recently received a £1.5 million refurbishment, which saw the historical venue install contemporary flooring, a high specification kitchen and energy saving LED lighting. Alongside this the latest audio visual equipment was introduced which included wireless microphones, two displays that connect to AV wall plates and a Crestron control panel set up to regulate the technology for both rooms.
Cloth Hall Court
Well Met Conferencing is opening its newest venue, Cloth Hall Court, in summer 2017. Taking influence from the building’s textile heritage, rooms will be themed with cloth in mind; names include Tweed, Herringbone and Wool – the latter being a nod to Leeds' industrial history. The venue has a maximum capacity of 300 delegates with four floors of conference space, along with state-of-the-art AV technology, superfast WiFi and, unusually for a city centre venue, VIP parking on-site.
Mary Rose Museum
The museum in Portsmouth, Hampshire reimagines The Mary Rose for the 21st century – Henry VIII’s flagship which was spectacularly raised from the seabed during the 1980s. It is one of the only 16th centry warships on display in the world. The venue was reopened this summer following refurbishment and can now be used as an events space. The Admiral's Gallery, located at the heart of the museum, caters for 100 seated while for smaller events, The Wardroom hosts up to 18.
Set in 163 acres of parkland and overlooking the famous site of the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury, the Tewkesbury Park hotel completed the second phase of extensive renovations this summer, introducing new meeting spaces and suites, an orangery and a cocktail lounge. Event space accommodates up to 200 guests and on the hotel's doorstep is the historic town of Tewkesbury - home to Tewkesbury Abbey.
